On April 25, 2011 Peace Corps launched its Stomping Out Malaria in Africa initiative at a World Malaria Day event at Peace Corps Headquarters in Washington DC. Since that time the initiative has grown to 23 countries in sub-saharan Africa. In 2013, the initiative reached over 220,000 people.
Stomping Out Malaria in Africa has 3 goals – Preventing malaria in our host communities, host countries and internationally.
