Seven volunteers from three different sectors convened in Kolda yesterday to deepen their understanding about malaria and prevention efforts and to discuss work zone action plans. Volunteers spent the morning with Senegal’s Malaria Team to enhance their knowledge about this complex disease and learn about what our partners are already doing in the field. In the afternoon, volunteers learned how to properly wash and repair nets and discussed the best ways to be involved in the fight against malaria in the Kolda region.
